Not only is it an interesting twist on both characters, but taking into consideration what Evil Buzz Lightyear did in his debut and what Lightyear set up with Zurg, the twist also works to give a perfect idea for what a potential Lightyear 2 could do for its plot. While Lightyear isn’t connected to Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, its version of Zurg still ended copying one of its best villains. Related: When Does Lightyear Release On Disney+?
